After one year of What's Nu, issue 13 is the culmination of our journey over these past months of learning, growing, and appreciating awesome music. This issue tracks where we've begun to where we are now, with over 80 pages of interviews and overviews of artists that we've worked with before, and our usual segments on new and old music to keep an eye on :) If you've wanted to check out our magazine but haven't been sure where to start, then issue 13 is for you. We have so much planned for you all in the coming months!! Thank you to all of our supporters, our artists, and everyone who loves nu-metal music. We couldn't have made it this far without your love and contributions.

This project is dedicated to spotlighting newer artists in the nu-metal scene, which tends to focus on just a few older bands instead of the budding new talent that ends up left on read (No shade towards the big guys, they're alright). For nu metal to survive, we need to turn our eyes to the future instead of obsessing over the past. There's no room for nu-stalgia. In the here and now, all that matters is What's Nu.
